It’s clear that it’s time to take a strong stand in favor of civil dialogue that’s focused upon solving our deep economic and social problems. I will always fight for the progress we need to make as a country. Through my service in the U.S. Marine Corps and my years in academia, I have learned that perseverance is the key to progress. I will take that spirit to Washington.
